PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) Los Alamos, NM. This position involves providing postoperative recovery care for adult patients, primarily focusing on ENT procedures such as appendectomy and gallbladder surgeries. The role requires immediate start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance, with flexibility for on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends.

Description:
This is a rapid response need at a 47-bed acute care facility serving Northern New Mexico. The unit primarily cares for adult patients and occasionally manages ENT surgeries, including appendectomy and gallbladder cases. - Required Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Minimum of 2 years of relevant PACU experience. Valid certifications must be provided at submission, as they are not available on site. - Schedule:
Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with approximately 40 hours per week. On-call coverage is required, with a 30-minute response time once notified of a case. - Additional Information:
Includes completion of background checks and fingerprinting as per New Mexico state requirements. Experience in Preoperative and PACU settings is preferred. Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance.
