Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a NM or compact license and prior ER experience.

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience required
• Associate's degree minimum required
• Critical access hospital experience preferred
• Fingerprinting and background check required per New Mexico state regulations for all clinical staff
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Work in a 9-bed Emergency Department within a 47-bed acute care facility
• Treats all patient populations including adult, geriatric, and pediatric cases
• Team nursing model with 9:2 patient ratios
• Uses Med Host EDIS for electronic documentation
• Night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• Provide emergency nursing care to a wide range of patient acuities and diagnoses
• Work in a teamwork-oriented environment within a major healthcare provider for Northern New Mexico
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates may begin work under a 14-day waiver while fingerprint background results are pending, under supervision
• Scrub color is unrestricted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
