American Traveler is hiring an RN Operating Room Circulator with 2+ years of OR experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications for a 13-week assignment in Los Alamos, NM.

• Acute care surgery unit with 3 OR, 3 PACU, and 5 Preop beds
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Serves patients of all ages
• Uses CQI and Medhost EHR systems
• Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend required, as needed
• Floating to Pre-Op as needed
• Call requirements of approximately 10-11 days per month, up to 15-16 days if only two staff are available

• Active RN license (NM State or Compact) required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and HWC
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulator experience required
• Must be fingerprinted prior to hire per New Mexico state requirement, with documentation of processing
• May begin work on a 14-day waiver while background check results are pending, under supervision

• Facility is a 47-bed acute care hospital serving as a major healthcare provider for Northern New Mexico
• Hospital-provided scrubs required; casual wear and open-toed shoes are not acceptable
• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
• Professional personality fit expected
• Travel experience is a plus but not required
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
• Must be able to start 7-10 days after offer acceptance
