• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update vehicle mileage and complete daily inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform inspections prior to operation.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns, fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform additional duties such as customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, errands, core returns, and handling stock orders.
• Assist customers, serve as cashier, and/or help with merchandising as business dictates.

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meets the company’s 14/18‑point system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Desired:

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
