DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE:

Foothill College is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and collegial full-time Theatre Arts instructor (Theatre Arts Generalist) with broad knowledge of acting and performance and a strong commitment to the mission of California's community colleges. The successful candidate will direct department productions and teach a diverse range of courses, which could include all levels of acting, directing, theatre literature, script analysis, multicultural theatre, movement, improvisation, and stage combat, in on-campus, online, and hybrid formats.

This position will include evening and weekend classes. The successful candidate will also assist with student recruitment, develop relationships with Bay Area Theatre companies, produce and promote quarterly department productions, oversee degree and certificate pathways, and support program growth, while collaborating with faculty across disciplines and fostering industry partnerships to enhance student opportunities. Standard duties expected of all full-time faculty include development, assessment, and revision of curricula and textbooks;
