Job SummaryThe Business Continuity Group Supervisor leads the daily execution and maintenance of the District Administrative Systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and directs a team of continuity technical professionals to strengthen organizational resilience and achieve strategic goals.
Duties and Responsibilities- Interview, select, hire, and supervise staff; assign, direct, and schedule work activities.
- Evaluate personnel performance, recommend promotions and rewards, and communicate performance metrics.
- Approve monthly time and attendance records; manage time‑off requests and overtime compensatory time.
- Address and resolve concerns, grievances, and reassignments; counsel employees and handle disciplinary actions.
- Plan training programs, develop departmental activities, orientations, and in‑services.
- Supervise programmers, temporary employees, and vendors; determine programming priorities and monitor project performance.
- Oversee computer applications functions, including ERP systems.
- Coordinate system maintenance, software development, and user requirements.
- Communicate program issues to the Director and advise District and campus staff.
- Recommend, acquire, install, and configure equipment and programs for the colleges.
- Assist in preparing the annual preliminary budget; control expenditures within limits.
- Operate computers, peripheral devices, software, hardware, and office equipment.
- Prepare and maintain narrative and statistical reports related to assigned activities.
- Attend meetings and other assigned activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of equipment and programs for future implementation.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Principles of database and project management, program planning, documentation, and control.
- Methods and problems of operating electronic data processing computers and peripherals.
- Analysis and design of systems and procedures.
- Computer programming languages, utilities, and applications used within the District.
- Supervision and training principles.
- Budget preparation and control.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Technical aspects of the field of specialty and record‑keeping techniques.
- Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for diversity including disability and sexual orientation.
- Plan, organize, and supervise ERP programming staff.

- Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or related field AND five (5) years of progressively responsible IT experience.
- MBA or two (2) years supervisory experience.
- Office environment.
- Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person and by telephone.
- Dexterity to operate a computer keyboard.
- Vision to read various materials.
- Standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, or crouching.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 20 lbs.
