Senior Executive Recruiter | Tax + Audit | Family Office | Private Equity

Our client, a growing family office, is hiring an Accounts Payable Accountant. This role offers the opportunity to support accounts payable for multiple entities while working closely with the Accounts Payable Manager in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Handle accounts payable functions for multiple entities with a variety of accounting and administrative services, including but not limited to full cycle accounts payable and research/resolution of vendor discrepancies.
  • Manage vendor relationships, requests, and payments, and monitor accounts to ensure timely and up-to-date payments.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of credit cards for multiple entities and provide monthly credit card expense analysis.
  • File paid invoices and other accounting department documents; assist in organizing and maintaining electronic versions of documents in the company database.
  • Assist with year-end reporting of 1099s.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full-cycle Accounts Payable and accounting or bookkeeping
  • Experience in a high net-worth family office or investment fund is a plus
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, deliver high-quality results, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude
  • Self-starter who can work independently under minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; takes pride in the job
  • Comprehensive computer skills:
    Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software/ERP;
    Quick Books and  highly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; good team player
  • Adherence to a high level of confidentiality
