Accounting Specialist

WORK HOURS:

9am - 5pm Mon. – Fri. (Due to Covid-19, employees are required to come to office at least once a week temporarily) SALARY:
Annual salary TBD + bonus (July)

BENEFITS: 401K, medical, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, FSA, AD&D and more. Company doesn’t provide parking

JOB REQUIREMENT:

- Enter sales/purchase to the accounting system SAP and ensure accurate A/P and A/R for the company’s financial reports

- Post transfer entries for wire payment received from our parent company in Japan

- Maintain all accounts on monthly basis - Remit payment details to vendors in the U.S. on weekly basis - File and organize financial documents

- Manage company fixed asset

- Generate aging inventory report every month and track records on aging inventories

- Reconcile items between the report from Operations and the inventory report after physical inventory which is held on a quarterly basis

- Communicate with vendors accounting contacts to maintain the company’s A/P and A/R

- Maintain accurate records for the company’s fixed assets

- Generate spreadsheets using financial data for reconciliations and analysis

- Help treasurer with company’s monthly closing and budget

QUALIFICATIONS:

- A four-year college degree

- Minimum of 2-3 year experiences in accounting is preferable

- Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial statement

- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

- English native speaker preferred. No Japanese skill is necessary, but bilingual a plus.

- Strong written and spoken communication skills - Attentive to detail

- Prompt, dependable, resourceful and capable

- Positive attitude, works well with team

- Strong computer skill (Quick to learn unfamiliar software) - Solid understanding of MS Office applications especially EXCEL
