Our award winning entertainment production client is looking for a Junior Controller to join their tight-knit, entrepreneurial team. This role is a newly created position that will oversee 3-4 different sets of books. The Controller will have a great deal of freedom to create and design his/her own systems and processes. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a department in a small company environment.
Job Description- Establish new accounting and internal control processes
- Prepare financial statements
- Liaise with CPA for tax filings
- Liaise with outside vendors
- Provide needed reporting to the outsourced CFO
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Production accounting background preferred
