Senior Accountant

An LA startup is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, responsibilities include month-end close, financial reporting, P&L, costs, and revenue. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, manages time well, and communicates effectively.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 3-6 years of accounting experience (industry/public accounting)
• CPA tracking or license preferred but not required
• Advanced Excel skills

• Post journal entries and reconcile balance sheets
• Perform intercompany transactions
• Track and report project costs
• Collaborate with Operations on project reporting
• Record revenue and costs
• Prepare financial statements
• Handle sales and financial reporting
• Maintain inventory via ERP
• Manage sales tax filings
• Support annual audits
• Perform ad hoc analysis
• Assist process improvements
