Staff Accountant

Salary: $70,000–$80,000

Schedule:

5 days / week in-office

Location :
Chatsworth

We’re partnering with a well-established, privately held company to hire a Staff Accountant for a newly created role. You’ll work directly with a supportive Controller who’s willing to train and help you grow. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, can handle a variety of responsibilities, and thrives in a tight-knit team.

• Prepare journal entries
• Assist with month-end close and bank reconciliations
• Support AR and AP functions as needed
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Create periodic reports including balance sheets and P&Ls
• Work with Quick Books Desktop / Online
• Assist with item setup / configuration for retail accounts (preferred)

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Excel (required)
• College degree in a related field;
  Bachelor's in Accounting is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a privately held environment with a high sense of urgency
