Senior Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $140,000 to $195,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee core accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and technical accounting
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Support accounting for inventory, fixed assets, and complex financial instruments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper revenue and cost recognition
• Contribute to ERP and MES system integration and lead automation efforts to improve efficiency

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in financial reporting, including cash flow, equity, and full financial statements
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or similar platforms
• CPA certification is preferred but not required

• A deep understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing-related financial processes
• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across departments
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial operations
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop accounting staff
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities
