Looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the finance team at a leading retail company in downtown Los Angeles. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, building relationships with customers, and ensuring timely and accurate cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve any discrepancies.
- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances and provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare and maintain accurate aging reports and assist with month-end closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and improve processes.
- Support audits and compliance requirements as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
- Education:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. - Experience:
2+ years of accounts receivable experience, ideally in retail or a high-volume environment. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite in downtown Los Angeles, 2 days remote.
