CGP: Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Operational Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $38.00 to $40.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end process for both vendor payments and customer invoicing.
• Contribute to monthly financial close by preparing account reconciliations and recording journal entries.
• Provide support for payroll processing and client billing tasks as needed.
• Maintain adherence to internal accounting procedures and financial controls.
• Partner with senior accounting staff on ad hoc reporting and special initiatives.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Net Suite is essential for this role.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing accounts payable, with familiarity in receivables.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational habits and clear, professional communication skills.
• Background in media, entertainment, or a comparable industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
• A solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
