Job Responsibilities:
- Help with grant accounting and financial analysis to support program funding
- Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring spending against grant allocations
- Contribute to month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support audit preparation by organizing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Focus on applying non-profit accounting principles across all financial tasks
- Possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field of study
- Demonstrate experience in non-profit accounting and financial reporting
- Show ability to perform budgeting, reconciliation, and audit support tasks
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling financial data
- 2+ years of experience in a similar accounting role
- Apply knowledge of lease accounting practices, if applicable
- Utilize MIP or similar accounting software effectively, if experienced
- Display strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial processes
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and support team goals
