Accounting Manager​/Senior Manager​/Assistant Controller

Position: Accounting Manager/ Senior Manager/Assistant Controller
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Assistant Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $140,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, support schedules, and management reports
• Coordinate monthly accounting activities with the Mexico team and ensure timely reporting
• Supervise daily accounting operations including AP, billing, AR, and reconciliations
• Review inventory transactions, lead cycle counts, and prepare monthly inventory summaries
• Collaborate with external auditors and assist with regulatory filings and audit documentation

• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail when managing financial data
• Communicate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
• Manage and prioritize team tasks while delegating responsibilities appropriately
• Adapt to cross-border operations and support process improvements
• Pass a background check and maintain high standards of accuracy and integrity

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required)
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory role
• Apply experience in inventory control, distribution, and manufacturing environments
• Show proficiency in ERP systems (Infor LN preferred) and advanced Excel functions
• Possess CPA or CMA certification (preferred) and experience with maquiladora operations
