Salary/Wage Range or Industry Benchmark: 33 - 36 USD Hourly USD 33.00 36.00 HOUR

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Account to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $33.00 to $36.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions to ensure financial accuracy
Categorize and post credit card expenses into the general ledger system
Assist with forecasting cash flow and monitoring liquidity needs
Record investment activity and prepare related journal entries for deposits
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entry preparation

Requirements:

2-3+ years of hands-on experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
Familiarity with accounting platforms such as Quick Books and SAGE
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Comfortable handling payroll and financial data with a high level of accuracy

Qualifications:

A degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related discipline
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing financial records
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external collaboration
Capable of working independently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
