Director of Accounting
Los Angeles, CA (local candidates only)
REQUIRED:- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Eight or more years of experience working in accounting in a manufacturing environment
- Significant cost accounting experience
- Deep GAAP knowledge, ERP/accounting software proficiency, strong analytical skills, tax knowledge
- Prepare accurate monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, ensure GAAP compliance, manage audits, and oversee tax filings
- Hire, train, mentor, and manage accounting staff, fostering a high-performing team
- Direct day-to-day accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger functions
- Analyze financial data for trends, provide insights to leadership, and align financial practices with business strategy
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and risk management strategies
- Coordinate budget preparation and forecast cash requirements
