Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $60,000 to $70,000 per year.

• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Review and code vendor invoices and employee expense reports for payment.
• Apply customer payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Perform monthly bank and cash account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing schedules and reports.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal and external interactions.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ year of relevant accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and standard accounting practices.
• Prior experience with accounting software; knowledge of Sage Intacct.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
