The Accountant at TheCRM plays a critical role in overseeing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general accounting functions. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional who can manage financial processes, optimize cash flow, and support financial reporting. The Accountant will collaborate across departments to uphold financial integrity, compliance, and efficiency.

• Produce and process the verification and reconciliation of vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors while maintaining strong relationships.
• Monitor and manage AP aging reports, resolve discrepancies and optimize cash flow.
• Work with department heads to ensure proper expense allocation and adherence to financial policies.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes related to AP.

• Oversee billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual terms.
• Monitor AR aging reports, proactively follow up on outstanding balances to maintain strong cash flow.
• Implement credit and collection procedures to minimize risk and bad debt exposure.
• Work closely with sales and account management teams to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and review journal entriesbians, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Support the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Conduct budget vs. actual analysis, providing insights and variance explanations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, including AP, AR, and financial reporting.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (experience with Xero is a plus).
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and internal controls.
• Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.
