Staff Accountant

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Beverly Hills. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting overall accounting functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in accounting software, and Excel.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and record accurate journal entries to support financial reporting.

- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely payments and collections.

- Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial documentation is complete and accurate.

- Process bi-monthly payroll efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations.

- Utilize Quick Books and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks and reporting.

- Generate financial reports and assist with audits as needed.

- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounting, including journal entries and general ledger management.

- Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and payroll processing.

- Hands-on experience with Quick Books and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
