Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly financial statements for approximately 26 LIHTC investment funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support the audit process by preparing quarterly work papers and providing requested documentation to auditors.
- Book daily cash transactions and other general ledger entries to maintain financial records.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and calculate interest on loans.
- Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or public accounting experience preferred).
- Have 3-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in LIHTC or real estate.
- Demonstrate familiarity with partnership tax returns and financial compliance.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office for financial reporting.
- Possess experience with JD Edwards-Enterprise One or other large ERP systems.
- Display strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Maintain excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Show the ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Uphold confidentiality in financial processes and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Identify problems, collect and analyze data, and develop logical solutions.
