Senior Accountant - Financial Services

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Accountant to support a growing organization within the real estate/financial services sector. This role will report directly to the Controller and serve as a key contributor within a lean accounting department.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Initiating, reviewing, approving, tracking, and reconciling incoming/outgoing wires.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Daily cash positioning, bank activity, transfers, and multiple bank accounts.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience in real estate and/or financial services is required
• Strong proficiency in Quick Books (required)
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience working in a small or lean accounting team environment
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
