  • Review quarterly and annual tax reporting packages and supporting calculations.
  • Review book-to-tax adjustments, tax basis reconciliations, and capital account summaries.
  • Support tax extension calculations, annual filings, and compliance deadlines.
  • Review internally prepared tax workbooks for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Assist with international tax reporting and compliance matters as needed.

Partnership & Investment Tax

  • Review tax reporting across investment partnerships, corporate entities, and related fund structures.
  • Evaluate tax implications associated with different entity structures, partner types, and investment activities.
  • Support analysis of investment-related tax matters, including ECI, FIRPTA, UBTI, tax leakage, and debt-related tax considerations.
  • Review financial statements and GAAP reporting to identify relevant tax adjustments.
  • Review partnership allocations, capital account reporting, and investment-related tax calculations.
  • Research technical tax matters and support tax planning initiatives as needed.

Tax Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal accounting teams and external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax reporting deliverables.
  • Review internally prepared tax work papers before submission to external tax advisors.
  • Track compliance deadlines, outstanding items, and reporting requirements throughout the tax reporting cycle.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and external service providers to resolve outstanding items and maintain reporting timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax reporting processes, work papers, and internal controls.
  • Support special tax projects and initiatives as the investment platform continues to expand.
Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of relevant tax accounting experience, ideally within public accounting, investment management, or financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting,…
