JOB DESCRIPTION

Korean American Family Services (KFAM) is a non‑profit organization specializing in gender‑based violence, mental health, and social services to Korean immigrant families. KFAM is seeking a Korean bilingual/bicultural Gender‑Based Violence (GBV) Program Coordinator. This individual is responsible for anticipating and executing various programmatic needs of the GBV department as well as across KFAM programs. Position may require some evening and weekend hours on occasion.

JOB

RESPONSIBLITIES
  • GBV Program Support and Coordination

    Responds to inquiry calls and emails and provides info.

    Support GBV program and staff coordinating events, outreach activities and media.

    Support GBV team with reports and documentation for different GBV program grants.

    Organize information and documentation including filing, scanning, copying, saving, and shredding.

    Manage special projects on behalf of GBV Department, as needed.

  • General Administrative Support

    Answer calls and check‑in clients/visitors as back up for Office Support Specialist.

    Assist in outreach and event coordination.

    Maintain office with pleasant atmosphere, office equipment and supplies.

    Troubleshoot office issues, such as identifying equipment needs, contacting vendors, etc.

    Provide support to other administration and programmatic staff, as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
    • Fluent in English; minimum conversational Korean required (reading/writing a plus).
    • Experience working with the Korean community and/or nonprofits preferred.
    • Previous experience working with non‑profits or domestic violence services agency a plus.
    • Strong organizational, multitasking, and people skills.
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic computer programs.
