The Electronics Quality Technician III reports to the Quality Supervisor on the Operations – Quality Control team. The successful individual in this role will support Stream Caster™ MANET product development and manufacturing.

The position is full‑time, on‑site daily, Monday through Friday. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West LA.

• Lead inspection and repair activities for complex PCB assemblies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and failure diagnostics using advanced tools.
• Perform functional testing and repair on customer‑returned units (RMAs).
• Support and train junior technicians on proper inspection, soldering, and ESD practices.
• Maintain and calibrate specialized test and diagnostic equipment.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering to resolve recurring product issues.
• Build and validate test fixtures and jigs used for production verification.

• High School Diploma or GED, or an Associate’s degree in Electronics, with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on electronics experience.
• Advanced soldering and rework proficiency (fine‑pitch SMT, BGAs, micro coax).
• Strong troubleshooting skills using schematics and test instruments.
• Experience documenting and communicating technical findings to engineers.
• NOTE – Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.

• Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) under IPC‑A‑610 or IPC‑J‑STD 001.
• Familiarity with RF and high‑speed digital circuit testing.
• Experience with Linux‑based diagnostic tools.
