We’re seeking a Procurement Manager to join a passionate, high-impact Operations team at a pivotal moment of growth who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and brings experience in procurement operations within CPG or beauty. In this role, you’ll help keep our supply chain running seamlessly by ensuring packaging, formulas, and finished goods are purchased, received, and reconciled accurately and on time.

You’ll collaborate closely with our Director of Procurement, Operations, Product Development and Marketing teams to ensure inventory is available to meet forecasted demand and support flawless product launches.

This role can be based in our LA office or remote.

• Issue and manage purchase orders for formulas, packaging, and assembly components.
• Track open POs, confirm lead times, and maintain accurate delivery dates in the MRP system.
• Partner with suppliers to confirm production schedules and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Help maintain and track KPIs relating to cost savings, quality and supplier performance with the goal to start conducting business reviews with strategic suppliers.
• Support innovation (POs for pilots/line trials/launch orders) and execute replenishment and transitions.
• Support month-end reconciliation by reviewing open POs, goods receipts, and invoices with Accounting.
• Maintain accurate material master data, costs, and supplier records in the ERP.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with Logistics and fulfillment of limited-edition assemblies and promotional sets.
• Assist the Director of Purchasing in tracking supplier performance metrics (on-time delivery, cost adherence, quality).
• Work closely with Product Development and Marketing to support new product launches, packaging transitions, and formula changes.

• 5–7 years of experience in purchasing for a beauty/CPG company (haircare background preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations/Supply Chain or related field required
• Direct MRP experience (Net Suite, SAP, or equivalent experience preferred)
• Experience and knowledge with contract manufacturing
• Team player who collaborates well and respects the opinions of co-workers
• Ability to multi-task, welcome challenges and present solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communicator with the ability to build and maintain supplier and cross-functional relationships.
• Growth mindset, open to feedback and learning opportunities
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with data analysis or reporting is a plus.
