Position: Construction Bookkeeper
Reports To: General Manager
DescriptionPaul Davis is an industry leader in restoration and reconstruction for insurance providers and commercial properties across the United States and Canada. The Construction Bookkeeper plays a pivotal role in managing job costing, accounting, and daily operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and support the franchise’s growth.
Responsibilities- Manage all phases of job costing within RMS and Quick Books accounting software.
- Manage the daily operations of the franchise when the owner is not available.
- Maintain all accounting, computer, and financial records for the franchise in collaboration with a CPA.
- Provide empathetic, urgent communication through modern technology.
- Establish rapport with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors advertisement, adjusters, agents, and fellow employees.
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company’s brand.
- Assist other team members and foster positive interdepartmental relationships.
- Collect information, use strong listening and communication skills, ask questions, and monitor various aspects of the business to detect problems.
- Request and maintain updated workplace safety certificates and insurance coverage for subcontractors.
- Enter timesheets and process payroll.
- Desire to join a world‑class team and contribute a positive attitude.
- Dedication to customer service.
- Organized but flexible; able to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
