Construction Scheduler

Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $/yr

Primavera Schedulers, (P6) – open for entry to senior level supporting construction projects within the greater Los Angeles area. Must have field experience and be able to travel to a variety of construction sites. Experience with Los Angeles Unified School District school construction projects is a required skill. These are on‑site 5‑day a week jobs; you must live in greater Los Angeles county.

These are NOT REMOTE or HYBRID jobs.

• Develops and maintains program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types
• Monitors and actively participates in project and program scheduling issues while administering best practices and standards
• Obtains accurate and timely program schedule updates from project teams and performs QA/QC on information received
• Creates and develops conceptual what‑if schedules for multiple project types including large complex multi‑year projects
• Performs Critical Path analyses and Earned Value analyses
• Prepares ad‑hoc reports and analyses as directed by management

• 5‑10 years full‑time paid professional experience in scheduling for an owner or general contractor, preferably on public works projects
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 15.1 or above and MS Office Suite
• Experience with projects using Design‑Bid‑Build and Design‑Build delivery methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior organizational and planning skills
• Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff

Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, (Engineering, or Construction Management).

We will take work experience into consideration, but candidates with degrees have preference.

No per diem. These are long‑term jobs with full benefits. You must physically be in Southern California. There are no relocation funds assigned to this position.
