Description
Our client in the brand imaging industry is seeking an Estimator/Project Coordinator to join their team located about 25 miles northwest of Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will prepare detailed estimates for projects ranging from $20K–$170K, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and adherence to client brand standards. You will work closely with sales, project management, vendors, and the art team to gather requirements, source materials, and translate them into precise cost proposals.
This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same—success comes from being organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities. Candidates with construction estimating or project coordination experience in industries like signage, solar, fencing, or roofing will thrive. This is a great opportunity to see projects through from concept to completion while working with national brands in a stable, long-established company that values teamwork and results.
Responsibilities
- Review project scope and requirements from sales and PM teams
- Create accurate estimates based on the scope of work
- Request and review vendor quotes for materials and services
- Break down material and labor costs for estimates
- Create estimates in Quick Books within 7 business days
- Coordinate with the art team to ensure design alignment
- Maintain standardized customer hierarchy in Quick Books
- Conduct sold job audits for accuracy before production
- Communicate with sales to confirm scope and resolve questions
- Track workload to meet KPI and project deadlines
- Learn and apply brand-specific standards and terminology
Qualifications
- 1+ years of estimating or project coordination experience required
- Construction, signage, solar, fencing, or roofing industry experience required
