The Abatement Project Managerisresponsibleformanagingenvironmentalabatementprojectsfrominitialassessmentthroughprojectcompletion .Thisroleoverseesfieldcrews,coordinatesprojectschedules,ensurescompliancewithsafetyandregulatorystandards,andmaintainsahighlevelofcustomerservicethroughouttheprojectlifecycle.
The Abatement Project Managerservesastheprimarypointofcontactforclientswhileensuringprojectsarecompletedsafely ,efficiently,onschedule,andwithinbudget.
Key Responsibilities:Project Management
- Manageabatementprojectsfrominitialsiteinspectionthroughfinalcompletion.
- Assessprojectscope,developworkplans,andcoordinatecrewschedulesandresources.
- Monitorprojectprogresstoensuretimelines,budgets,andqualitystandardsaremet.
- Maintaindetailedjobdocumentation,including photos,reports,andprojectrecords.
- Superviseanddirectfieldtechniciansandsubcontractorsduringabatementactivities.
- Communicateexpectationsandensurecrewsfollowestablishedworkprocessesandsafetyprocedures.
- Serveastheprimarypointofcontactforclientsthroughouttheproject.
- Explaintheabatementprocess,project scope,andexpectationstocustomers.
- Provideregularupdatesonprojectprogressandaddressquestionsorconcerns.
- Ensureallworkcomplieswithenvironmentalregulations,safety standards,andcompany policies.
- Identifypotentialhazardsandimplementappropriatesafetycontrolsonjobsites.
- Maintainproperdocumentationrelatedtoenvironmentalandregulatorycompliance.
- Performinitialinspectionsandfinalwalk-throughstoensurequalityandcompletionofwork.
- Documentjobprogressandmaintainaccurateprojectfilestosupportservicesprovided.
- Monitorlabor,materials,andequipmentusagetoensureefficientprojectexecution.
- 3-5+yearsofexperienceinabatement,environmentalremediation,restoration,orconstructionprojectmanagement
- Experiencesupervisingfieldcrewsandmanagingmultipleprojectssimultaneously
- Knowledgeofabatementsafetyprocedures,environmental regulations,andjobsitesafetypractices
- Strong organizational,communication,and problem-solving skills
- Valid Driver License required
- Commercial Drive License preferred
- Relevantcurrentcertifications(e.g.,asbestos,lead,mold,orenvironmentalremediation) required
- Walkingandstandingforextendedperiodsatactivejobsites
- Abilitytoliftupto
50poundsindependently,occasionallymorewithassistance - Climbingladdersandaccessingconfinedspacessuchascrawlspacesorattics
- Exposuretodust,airborne particles,chemicals,andvaryingweatherconditions
- Occasionaluseofrespiratorsandpersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE)
- Frequentdrivingbetweenjobsitesandprojectlocations
Salary
:$35.00-$40.00perhour,pending experience
