Formwork Engineer

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1300 per week.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Formwork Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Formwork Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient construction of formwork structures on building projects.

• Design and plan formwork structures for building projects, considering safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for formwork structures
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure timely completion of formwork construction
• Conduct site inspections to ensure that formwork structures are constructed according to design plans and industry standards
• Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the construction process
• Maintain accurate records of all formwork materials used on projects
• Train and supervise junior staff members on proper formwork techniques and procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in formwork engineering or related role
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and standards
• Proficient in using AutoCAD or other design software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

• Experience working with large-scale building projects
• Knowledge of different types of formwork systems
• Familiarity with local building codes in Los Angeles
