Are you the face of the future of health media?
Biohack Yourself Media is looking for bold, on-camera correspondents to join our next-gen health press channel. This is a freelance, 1099 role where you’ll be paid per video submission, with opportunities for travel, media passes, and visibility that goes far beyond a typical freelance gig.
We’re building a growing community of “healthcasters”—dynamic personalities who live and breathe wellness, longevity, and biohacking, and who know how to keep an audience hooked with influencer-style journalism.
What You’ll Do
- Appear on-camera to deliver short-form news and feature coverage (IG Reels, Tik Tok, You Tube Shorts).
- Research, script, and self-produce engaging 1–2 minute videos on trending health news, wellness events, and expert spotlights.
- Film and edit your own content using your phone and tools like Cap Cut, Canva, or Premiere.
- Use hooks, cutaways, captions, and fast-paced edits to capture attention and keep viewers engaged.
- Cover live events, expos, and red carpets (locally or with travel covered by Biohack Yourself).
- Collaborate with our editorial team for trending topics, interviews, and press opportunities.
To be clear—this is not a copywriting or behind-the-scenes editor role. We’re seeking on-camera personalities who can confidently perform and independently produce polished, social-ready content.
Note:
We are looking for candidates residing in the Los Angeles area for easier access to events, interviews, and red-carpet coverage opportunities.
- Charismatic on-camera presence.
- Strong editing self-sufficiency (no film crew needed).
- Social-first instincts: understands hooks, pacing, cutaways, and what keeps people from scrolling past.
- Ability to keep content aligned with trends while making it credible and engaging.
- Passion for health, biohacking, wellness, and longevity culture.
- Covering a wellness center spotlight? You’ll often get to sample treatments, test products, or be pampered during filming.
- Journalists receive media passes to top-tier events—access the public usually pays thousands for.
- Backstage interviews, red carpet coverage, and VIP access with celebrities, athletes, and thought leaders.
- Visibility and networking that opens doors far beyond a single assignment.
We provide a full Biohack Yourself Media kit so you look and feel official on assignment:
- Branded Biohack Yourself shirt with “Health Press” on the back
- Branded Biohack Yourself hat and lapel pin
- Branded microphone with mic flag and windscreen
- Wireless mic kit for mobile interviews
- Portable mic stand and camera stand for solo filming
- Replacement gear and apparel provided as needed
