We are hiring a Talent Curation Lead for CM’s newest division, Voices. While audiences love brands, they trust their favorite voices the most. We partner brands with trusted voices to tell their stories.

Location: Los Angeles, Portland or New York – this role will be hybrid and requires travel within the US (open to travel 50%).

We’re looking for a deeply curious, culturally fluent Talent Strategy & Curation Lead — someone who lives at the intersection of brands, creators, and culture. This person is obsessed with discovering emerging, established, and niche talent across social platforms, and knows how to strategically connect those creators to brand storytelling opportunities. They’ll combine art and science — creative intuition and strategic rigor — to build best‑in‑class casting lists, archetype frameworks, and talent recommendations that drive real business impact for our clients.

You’re equal parts creative, tastemaker and strategist — obsessed with discovering what’s next, but also able to explain why it matters. You don’t just pull talent’s names; you build narratives. You see the patterns that connect creators to culture and brands to audiences. And you believe that the right casting can transform a campaign from good to unforgettable.

• Talent Discovery & Curation: Source, vet, and organize creators across Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, and emerging platforms with a sharp eye for cultural relevance, platform fit, and brand alignment.
• Strategic Casting: Deliver deeply researched, highly curated talent lists that ladder to brand ethos, campaign strategy, and specific product/launch goals.
• Creator Archetypes: Build and evolve creator archetype frameworks that map to brand needs, audiences, and channels.
• Proactive Intelligence: Share ongoing digests of brand‑right talent for each client; surface early cultural signals, formats, and rising voices.
• Story‑Driven Rationale:
  Craft compelling talent narratives (one‑sheets, short decks) that clearly articulate why this creator, why now, and how they advance the creative idea and the brief.
• Insight Connection:
  Translate consumer insights, strategic insights, and brand insights into casting decisions
  —link talent to audience motivations, brand jobs (equity/awareness/consideration), and measurable outcomes.
• Cutting‑Edge Curation:
  Think proactively and stay on the edge of culture
  —experiment with new formats, communities, and talent categories; pilot small tests to validate bets.
• Measurement Mindset: Connect casting to KPIs and a learning agenda; partner with analytics to close the loop on performance and signal quality.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with strategy, creative, production, and client teams to ensure casting is integrated from concept to launch.

• 5+ years working with brands on social/creator/influencer programs.
• 5–7+ years working with creators/influencers/talent reps or platforms.
• Deep knowledge of the creator economy and platform dynamics (Tik Tok, You Tube, Instagram, + emerging).
• Exceptional storyteller
  —turns research and data into clear, persuasive narratives; presents with confidence to senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to synthesize insights (consumer research, social listening, search trends, platform analytics) into sharp casting strategies and archetypes.
• Strategic brand fluency
  —understands positioning, audience segments, and brand architecture; ladders talent choices to strategy and outcomes.
• Proactive, trend‑forward curator with an always‑on radar, a living watchlist, and a POV on what to test next.
