Wonderful Agency is the full‑service, award‑winning, in‑house agency that operates as exclusive creator of marketing communications and brand experiences for iconic brands such as FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds, Wonderful Halos, JUSTIN, JNSQ and Landmark Wines, Teleflora and more. The Editor, Social Media (Short‑Form Video) will edit short‑form vertical video for Instagram Reels, Tik Tok, Meta, and You Tube Shorts, transforming raw footage into platform‑native content built for engagement and performance, delivering quick turnarounds and multiple variations to support testing and optimisation.

This position is based in our West Los‑Angeles, CA office with a hybrid schedule (in‑office Monday‑Wednesday, remote Thursday‑Friday). Please share a portfolio or relevant examples of your short‑form video editing experience.

• Edit & Produce Social Media Content – Edit short‑form vertical videos using Adobe Premiere and native platform tools, ensuring high‑quality, trend‑driven content that aligns with brand strategy.
• Optimize & Iterate Quickly – Create multiple versions of videos for testing and optimisation, adapting content to platform trends and audience engagement metrics.
• Manage High‑Volume Editing Workflow – Handle a steady stream of content, contributing to the production of 50 videos per month across six brands while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Stay Ahead of Trends – Continuously monitor social media trends, editing styles, and platform updates to keep content fresh, engaging, and relevant.
• Proactively Anticipate Needs – Work closely with the social team to stay two steps ahead, identifying editing opportunities and workflow improvements before they are requested.
• Adapt & Troubleshoot – Be resourceful and agile, finding creative solutions to editing challenges and maintaining efficiency under tight deadlines.

• Video Editing Expertise:
  Proficiency in Adobe Premiere with proven success in creating high‑quality short‑form video content for social media platforms (Reels, Tik Tok, Meta, You Tube Shorts, etc.).
• Organisational Skills – Highly organised and meticulous with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining efficiency.
• Social Media Savvy – Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience expectations, with attention to the small details that set high‑performing content apart.
• Cross‑Platform Adaptability – Ability to edit and adapt video formats for different platform requirements, such as transitioning a Tik Tok layout into Meta‑friendly dimensions.
• Fast, High‑Quality Production – Demonstrated capability to produce high volumes of content quickly without compromising quality, meeting tight deadlines with ease.
• Industry Awareness – A pulse on what brands across industries are doing well on social media, using this knowledge to inform and inspire creative approaches.

• Experience – Minimum of 2 years of short‑form video editing experience.

Pay Rate: $30‑33/hour and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
