As our Technical Podcast Producer, you’re not just producing a podcast - you’re engineering a movement. You are the technical anchor of our recording sessions, responsible for ensuring every technical detail is flawlessly executed so our hosts and guests can focus completely on creating great content.
You will work directly with our team to set up, record, and package every episode for our post-production team. You’ll handle project management across our post-production work, like overseeing that each stage of editing is moving along amongst the post-production team.
You will be responsible for the entire in-studio production process, from pre-production to asset handoff, to ensuring that the episodes are getting fully edited & produced for their release dates. Constant growth in our content's quality, technical execution, and meeting deadlines is what you’ll be measured by.
Location: Must live in Los Angeles, CA or be able to easily commute 2-3 days per week.
What You’ll Do:Own the entire in-studio technical production, managing all gear, recording, and live streaming for two (and potentially three) shows per week.
Lead the execution of all asset handoffs, ensuring 100% of footage and project assets are perfectly organized and delivered to the post-production team within 10 hours of recording.
Project manage the entire.
Constantly find new ways to improve performance, analyzing viewer retention, tracking growth metrics, and proposing new growth experiments to help grow the podcast.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days):Objective 1: Achieve 100% flawless technical execution for all recording sessions and the release of all the content.
Key Result: 1.) Achieve 0 instances of lost footage, corrupted audio, or other technical failures due to setup or operational error. 2.) Ensure 100% of new footage and project assets are organized and delivered to the post-production team within 10 hours of recording completion. 3.) Ensure 100% perfect post-production / publishing of all our episodes.
Objective 2: Drive audience growth through performance analysis and strategy.
Key Results: 1.) Propose and implement 1 new optimization (e.g., set design, pacing) with the goal of increasing average viewer retention on long‑form episodes by 10% within 6 months. 2.) Track how each episode contributes to leads generated via CTAs and show notes, and manage analytics to help drive growth. 3.) Propose and execute 1 growth experiment (e.g., a new segment idea, thumbnail experiment, new short‑form series).

Own the end-to-end in-studio setup (multi-cam, audio, lighting) for all podcast and livestream recordings.Recording & Livestream Management:
