About Us

Sofar Sounds is a global community that connects artists and audiences through unique and intimate experiences. Sofar shows transform everyday spaces — from living rooms and rooftops, to boutiques and museums — into captivating venues for intimate gigs, creating inclusive experiences that bring people closer together. Founded in London in 2009, Sofar creates space where music and arts matter in 400 cities around the world.

Our global team is distributed across the US and UK, and is backed by some of the best-known consumer industry investors (TCG, Battery Ventures, Union Square Ventures, Octopus and others).

We re looking for energetic, self-motivated individuals to join our street team and help promote our live shows throughout Los Angeles neighborhoods. As a Street Team Member, you ll play a vital role in building awareness and excitement for our events by posting promotional materials in high-traffic areas. Be part of the Sofar Sounds LA Marketing efforts and build community in our neighborhoods!

Time Commitment: Minimum 4 hours per month

Location: Must be located in the greater Los Angeles area

• Post flyers in designated LA neighborhoods and high-visibility locations (e.g., posts, bulletin boards, local businesses like: coffee, record, vintage shops etc.)
• Document your work with photos and videos of posted flyers
• Print promotional materials at approved vendors (e.g., Kinkos/Fed Ex Office)
• Submit expense receipts for printing and approved materials
• Complete a minimum of 4 hours of flyering per month. Additional hours may be available upon needs.

• Must complete W-9 tax form before starting
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Smartphone capable of taking photos/videos for documentation
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Professional representation of our brand in the community
• Must provide receipts for reimbursement
• Must provide photo / video proof flyering has taken place

• Flyer designs and posting instructions
• One-time reimbursement for staple gun/tape
• Reimbursement for approved printing costs (with receipts)

Compensation: $20 - $20 an hour

Our global Sofar team is deeply passionate about music and the work we do. When we re not working, you can probably find us at a live show or telling anyone in earshot about the new song we can t stop listening to.
