Dental Assistant

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Dental Assistants to support the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System in Los Angeles, CA and surrounding satellite locations, including Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, Bakersfield CBOC, Santa Maria CBOC, Los Angeles ACC, and Captain Rosemary Bryant Mariner Outpatient Clinic. • Provide chairside assistance across dental specialties
• Maintain and disinfect dental equipment
• Take and evaluate x-rays
• Record patient info, manage dental records and software systems
• Assist with inventory and safety protocols
• Support and train dental trainees

• Current unrestricted license by the Committee on Dental Auxiliaries (COMDA) for the State of California
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a dental assistant
• Dental Radiological Certificate
• Current BLS and/or CPR certification
• Valid TB test
• Ability to successfully undergo a Government-sponsored background investigation (US Citizenship required)

Pay Range:$22 - $26.93 hourly

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
