Dental Treatment Coordinator Job Overview

Our state-of-the-art practice is looking for a goal oriented, highly motivated Treatment Coordinator who has confidence in their ability to sell high value-large treatment plans. This position is perfect for the person who is self-motivated, high energy, and has the ability to sell by connecting with patients, building trust and creating value and urgency.

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the dental field, and one year experience as a treatment coordinator
• Strong sales skills
• Time management skills
• Must have great people skills
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office and Dentrix
• Ability to multitask and prioritize with efficiency
• Must have a “get it done” mentality
• Experience with Implant cases, specifically with AO4/Hybrid procedure preferred
• Bilingual preferred

• Meeting collection and production goals
• Maintaining manageable and productive schedules
• Recording, reporting, and tracking case presentation results
• Ensuring a high conversion rate and proper follow through on all case presentations
• Following up on pending treatment plans
• Communicating results and updating manager on progress throughout the day
• Managing your workflow throughout the day in efforts to work efficiently so you can complete tasks in a timely fashion
• Assisting patients with financing options and submitting forms on behalf of the patient and the practice to the finance institutions
• Completing assigned reports and submitting an end of the day report
• Assisting with aging reports and accounts under collections
• Auditing schedules and account balances
• Entering treatment plans and coordinating benefits based on the insurance plan prior to presenting fees to the patient

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Treatment Coordinator is required.
