Associate Landscape Designer

Sarita Jaccard Design is hiring an Associate Landscape Designer

This is an opportunity to work with a small and passionate team to provide innovative solutions and creative design concepts for both small and large projects.

Tasks:

• Perform the daily functions that support a successful project throughout design development, budgeting and procurement, and final installation.
• Meet and communicate directly with consultants and vendors
• Have close coordination with architectural, landscape, and construction studios within the Office as required.
• Produce cohesive, accurate, and beautiful plans, elevations, 3D views, and client presentations as directed.
• Meet regularly with Principal to review project progress and assigned tasks.
• Perform all tasks with diligence, high attention to detail, and according to Studio standards

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant industry experience with an exceptional reputation
• Very strong communication, design, and organizational skills
• Technical skills:
  AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Microsoft Excel, Lumion/Revit or similar quality rendering software. Hand Drawing acceptable to get design elements across.
• The ability to communicate openly and positively with colleagues and partners
• A positive outlook and strong work ethic
• Licensure a plus, but not necessarily a requirement
• Must have a reliable car & live in Los Angeles

Hours & In-Office vs. Remote

• ~30 hrs per week in-office to start

Compensation

• Commensurate with experience
