We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Landscape Designer/Director, specialized in residential and hospitality projects, to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of landscape design principles, project management, and client relations, working closely with architects and engineers to deliver sustainable, innovative, and attractive landscapes for high-end residential and hospitality clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of landscape projects focusing on residential and hospitality environments.
- Manage all project phases from initial consultation to construction documentation and implementation.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to meet project goals, standards, and schedules.
- Develop creative landscape designs that complement residential architecture and outdoor spaces.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality output.
- Conduct site analyses, environmental assessments, and material selections to ensure sustainability and durability.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, budgets, and estimates.
- Present concepts and updates to clients, incorporating feedback into designs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with zoning, building codes, and regulations.
- Participate in site visits during design and construction phases.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
- 7-10+ years of professional experience with a strong portfolio of residential landscape projects.
- Experience in all phases of design and project management for residential properties.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and related software.
- Knowledge of plant materials, sustainable practices, and hardscape techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project teams.
Skills:
- Experience with high-end residential landscape design and market trends.
- Knowledge of landscape lighting, irrigation, and water features.
- LEED or other sustainability certifications are a plus.
- Landscape Architect licensure is a plus.
Salary: $110-$120k DOE
