Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology; Clinician Educator CHLA

The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine, are actively seeking a full‑time faculty member for the position of Attending in Pediatric Anesthesiology at the rank of Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology (Clinician Educator). Academic rank will be commensurate with training and achievement.

The Department is responsible for nearly 20,000 anesthetics per year with over 1,000 cardiac cases and for the care of over 2,400 ICU admissions. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is a free‑standing, academic children’s center with the full scope of pediatric practice and excellent educational opportunities located on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. We are ranked within the top 10 nationally in the most recent US News & World Report survey.

The Hospital has its own research foundation and is within the top five children’s hospitals receiving federal funding.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a fellowship‑trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist seeking to build an academic career in a high acuity pediatric hospital. We are particularly interested in candidates with an interest in Abdominal Organ Transplantation and/or Pediatric Pain Medicine.

Applicants must have successfully completed an ACGME‑accredited fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology and be board‑certified (or eligible to become board‑certified within one year of hire) in Pediatric Anesthesiology.

The annual base salary range for this position is $480,000-$501,000.
