Overview
The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Infectious Diseases, are actively seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator). The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at CHLA comprises 8 physician faculty and three nurse practitioners. CHLA maintains an active Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) staffed by two ASP pharmacists, and another serves as the medical director for the CHLA Infection Prevention Committee (IPC).
This position involves inpatient and outpatient pediatric infectious diseases care at CHLA with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and research. An M.D. or D.O. is required. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Infectious Diseases is required. A California Medical License is required.
The annual base salary range for this position is $95,904 – $325,712. USC considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience, education/training, key skills, internal equity, applicable laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, and external market considerations.
