Position Overview: We seek highly motivated individuals with a demonstrated potential for conducting innovative research. Successful candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous, independently funded research program within the Division of Infectious Diseases, participate in teaching of graduate and medical students and clinical fellows, and be an active member of the research community at Cedars‑Sinai Health Sciences University. Candidates will have limited clinical responsibilities separate from their protected time for research.
The position provides a competitive start‑up package and offers outstanding collaboration opportunities throughout the university.

Compensation Philosophy: Competitive total compensation includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs. Pay range: $243,000–$433,000 total cash compensation. A comprehensive faculty benefits package is offered.
Qualifications:- Doctorate (MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent)
- Board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases
- Strong record of peer‑reviewed publications demonstrating originality and productivity
- Research interests may include innate immunity, host‑pathogen interactions, microbiome, allergic diseases, and lung injury
- Applicants with a clinical research program are encouraged to apply
Seniority level: Assistant or Associate Professor (full or associate). Exceptional full professor level considered.
Employment type: Full‑time.
