Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesOur Head and Neck Surgery department is seeking a general otolaryngologist to join our team in providing clinical care across the UCLA Head and Neck Surgery Community clinics. The surgeon will manage patients with general otolaryngology complaints and clinical diagnoses, as assigned by the department Chair.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in treating all general Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery conditions in office and operating room settings. Most surgical cases will be at local Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), with some at local hospitals. ASCs operate five days a week and may include evening or weekend schedules. The Staff physician will complete patient documentation on time and deliver evidence-based, compassionate, and personalized care.
Call coverage is as needed.
The salary range provided is an estimate; actual offers depend on qualifications and experience. The target total compensation is between $250,000 and $999,000.
Job QualificationsRequirements:
- Board Eligible or Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in Head and Neck Surgery. Board Eligible candidates must complete their boards within 1 year of training completion.
- Maintain good working relationships with UCLA Health System partners and support staff.
- Travel between UCLA Head and Neck Surgery Community Clinics as needed.
