Major functions include serving as a Physician Assistant for Surgical Services at West Valley under the general supervision of the Medical Director. Duties include providing inpatient care to surgical patients including General Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Urology patients, coordinating the care of adult patients, and providing patient/family education to promote a smooth transition from admission to discharge. Provide a discharge plan with detailed instructions.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, lead the rotational mentoring program, participate in clinical trials, and contribute to research, teaching, and publishing.

PA: $74.95 - $100.86/hourly

Senior PA salary to be determined by relevant experience. Range: $82.40 - $110.87/hourly

• Degree from PA Program - required
• CA PA License - required
• National PA Board Certification - required
• BLS from AHA or ARC - required
• ACLS from AHA - required
• Experience working with surgical patients in inpatient settings - required
• Operating room experience - preferred
• Self-directed and organized with the ability to work independently - required
• Skill in physical assessment and care of surgical patients - required
