Adjunct Professor of Finance and Business Economics – USC Marshall School of Business
The Finance and Business Economics (FBE) Department invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure-track faculty position for AY . This adjunct appointment is for faculty teaching less than full-time, typically one course per year (with exceptional cases up to one course per semester, subject to dean approval).
Definition of adjunct faculty and part-time faculty, and the expectations for teaching load, are described below for context within USC’s appointment categories.
Responsibilities- Teach primarily the undergraduate course in Fundamentals of Finance, with the possibility of teaching Microeconomics and Macroeconomics; additional elective courses and graduate instruction opportunities may emerge over time.
- Demonstrate teaching excellence and contribute actively to the Marshall School community.
- Utilize classroom technology effectively to support instruction.
- Strong applicants will have demonstrated teaching excellence and a background in business with an understanding of today’s global business environment.
- Experience with classroom technology and a Ph.D. in a related field.
- Part-time, non-tenure-track position for AY .
- Per-course salary range: $7,500 – $19,000.
