We are hiring for our Los Angeles site and Long Beach site

The Infant Preschool Teacher provides nurturing care and age-appropriate educational experiences for infants (12 to 24 months). This role fosters a warm, engaging environment that supports early developmental milestones and complies with NAEYC standards and ITERS expectations.

• Deliver nurturing, responsive care including feeding, diapering, and individualized support.
• Plan and implement Creative Curriculum®-based activities that promote development.
• Complete DRDP and ASQ assessments and maintain documentation.
• Maintain an ITERS-compliant environment at all times.
• Communicate daily updates through Learning Genie.
• Sanitize and disinfect classroom materials and surfaces daily.
• Comply with all Title 22, Title 5, and CACFP regulations.
• Participate in professional development, in-service training, and apply best practices.
• Maintain respectful communication with children, families, and staff.

• Minimum 12 ECE units including Infant/Toddler development.
• Must obtain an ECE Permit within 90 days of employment.
• Valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Must complete and maintain Mandated Reporter Child Abuse Training Certificate.
• TB test and immunizations for Tdap and MMR required; flu shot is optional.
• Must attend and complete all assigned in-service trainings.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Requires bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, and sitting on the floor.
• Must respond quickly in emergencies and ensure child safety at all times.

• As a NAEYC-aligned program, professional code of conduct and ethical behavior are expected at all times.
• Staff are expected to uphold the values of Little Scholars Academy with consistency and care.

• Perform any duties as assigned by the Site Director and Administration, including supporting other classrooms, participating in events, and assisting with program operations as needed.
