Adjunct - AY26 Dance Techniques Instructor
Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) is accepting applications for part‑time adjunct professor positions to provide instruction in Dance Studies for the 2026 Academic School Year.
Position OverviewPart‑time adjunct instructor teaching a variety of Dance Techniques courses. Successful candidates collaborate, communicate, and work as professionals with students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
Responsibilities- Teach Dance Techniques courses.
- Provide culturally responsive instruction to a diverse student body.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Maintain professional engagement with the community.
- Master's in Dance, Physical Education with a Dance emphasis, or theater with a dance emphasis.
- OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND a Master's in Physical Education, Life Science, Physiology, Theater Arts, Kinesiology, Humanities, Performing Arts, or music.
A medical certificate indicating fitness to engage in administrative work is required prior to employment. Vaccination status or an approved exemption must be provided prior to starting a position in accordance with LACCD Board of Trustees policy.
CompensationAdjunct instructors begin at $89.72 per standard hour, plus an office hour differential of $20.99 per hour for classroom assignments. Applicants with a doctoral degree are eligible for a doctoral differential.
