Key Responsibilities:- Providing personal care and behavioral assistance to assigned students
- Assisting with classroom activities, grooming, meal preparation, toileting, and ambulation
- Managing challenging behaviors and implementing crisis intervention strategies
- Encouraging independence and ensuring student safety
- Supporting the implementation of behavioral plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation as per Amergis policies
- Communicating effectively with school staff and Amergis office personnel
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- CPR Certification & Current TB Skin Test/Chest X-ray (if applicable)
- Completion of company testing process
